New Billboards on Artesian Spring Road
and entering Waskish Township on Highway #72!
- main arteries to winter recreation on the south and east shores of Upper Red Lake.
Beltrami County Soil & Water Conservation District partnered with us to make this happen with a grant from the Clean Water Land and Legacy Fund.
We encourage all visitors to help protect our public land and waters by having a plan for your garbage and waste before you hit the ice this winter.

PROJECTS
In the fall of 2021 we welcomed interest in the problem of human waste disposal and removal during the Ice Fishing Season. We started a dialogue with the Beltrami County Soil and Water Conservation District about our shared concerns and efforts to mitigate. A committee was formed to do the hard work of promoting and implementing a sustainable approach to a complex problem.

In the fall of 2022, the Association erected two new billboard signs along Highway #72, five miles south and north of Waskish.
